Disaster Preparedness at the SUN General Meeting Tuesday, November 15

posted Nov 12, 2011, 9:35 AM by Sun Secretary

Natural disasters such as flood, fire, and earthquake affect thousands of people every year.  Those of us living in the Bay Area in particular know the risks of earthquakes and are aware that even a relatively moderate earthquake can have major consequences such as lack of power and a lack of emergency services.  Therefore, it is especially important  for us to be prepared in the event of a natural disaster and to be able take care of ourselves and our families.

At the next SUN general meeting on Tuesday, November 15, at 7pm at Plaza Maria, 115 East Reed St we will be discussing disaster preparedness in depth and hope that you will attend so we all as a community will be more prepared for that unexpected event that is guaranteed to impact us at some point in our lives.  We look forward to seeing you then.
